Loughborough Male Voice Choir
Loughborough Male Voice Choir
The Loughborough Male Voice Choir was formed in 1967 under the direction of George Towers and since that time has grown to become the Official Male Voice Choir of the Loughborough.
Loughborough Male Voice Choir is made up of people who simply enjoy making music and often enjoy that  feeling as a shiver run down your spine when we perform a piece that really works. We meet each week for practice, hold concerts and perform at various events regularly throughout the year and go on occasional tours.

Become a Patron For any organisation like ourselves, costs are just an everyday fact of life. The hire of venues, replacing and updating music, insurance, stationary and publicity expenses all have to be met from the choir’s limited funds. To help us meet some of these costs we’ve introduced an opportunity to become a Patron.
Recruitment In the last few years many local choirs have had a hard time recruiting members and indeed some have had to disband. Loughborough Male Voice Choir has been able to steadily build up its membership which currently stands at 45. However we are always looking to increase our numbers and new blood is always welcome. To become involved with the Loughborough Male Voice Choir you need little more than enthusiasm for music and singing, and a willingness to aspire to improve. There is no audition and Choir members are only too happy to help prospective new comers. Why not come along to a rehearsal to see what the choir is all about? You could join in, or maybe just sit and listen and then decide whether you would like to join a friendly group of like minded men who do enjoy their singing. If you are male (a vital requirement for a Male Voice Choir!) why not come to Trinity Methodist Church, Royland Rd,  Loughborough, on any Thursday evening at around 7 pm.
Loughborough Male Voice Choir are proud to have raised valuable funds for a number of local charities in recent years through concerts and other events. If you would like the LMVC to perform a concert for the benefit of your charity   LOROS – Hospice care for Leicestershire – £639 Loughborough Citizens Advice Bureau – £600 Haiti Appeal – £413 Multiple Sclerosis Society – £239 Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance – £79 Peter Le Marchant Trust – £229
